We’re here to create a better world with Yoga as our common ground. We lead down-to-earth classes, expert teacher training, and an engaged intergenerational community. 

We opened our doors in 2005, and have become known for our highly experienced teachers, our innovative approach to movement, and our efforts in community care and social justice. Our aim is to make the practices of yoga and meditation more inclusive, more accessible, and more relevant for your day-to-day life.

Practice Yoga at Home with Unlimited On-Demand Access

Join our experienced teachers for online yoga that will soon become your personal favourite. Rather than a youtube channel where creators may not have your best interests in mind and distractions abound, we invite you to connect with our trustworthy staff for expert guidance and a mindful practice that embraces the present moment, distraction-free.

Our On-Demand library includes everything from yoga, meditation and mindfulness, to strength and mobility. Deepen your mind-body connection with approachable online yoga classes that exceed the quality of instruction at most yoga studios. Our On-Demand Subscriptions also include access to our seasonal Yoga Challenges and our custom yoga playlists. 

The Branches Yoga teachers are gently encouraging, approachable, highly educated, and above all, passionate about creating classes for a range of interests and goals. Our staff includes teachers who specialize in everything from hatha vinyasa flow, to arm balances, to guided meditation, to restorative yoga and more.

Whether you want to learn to slow down, relieve stress, experience a mindful yoga challenge, or just have some fun moving your body, we’ve got different classes and styles of yoga with you in mind. Are you a beginner? 

Yoga Foundations is our 5-lesson starter pack focusing on fundamental poses and actions. We work on the hips, spine and shoulders/wrists to help you build your capacity and your confidence to start (or restart) a Yoga practice. The series also includes a Mindful Breathing practice, an Intro to Sun Salutations, and a longer Synthesis practice to help you put all your learning together. You can buy the series individually, or it's included in our On-Demand Subscription! 

The Branches Approach

Movement Education. Based on years of yoga training and movement practice, we offer a progressive blend of yoga, functional movement, and strength training. We aim to empower students with a well-balanced approach to healthy movement, both on the mat and in day-to-day life. We incorporate mindfulness and self-inquiry into the practice to make it more holistic and meaningful. We share stories, laughs, and playfulness as we practice. We offer a range of classes, including both beginner-friendly and more athletic options.

Self-Care. We believe in slowing down and taking time to listen to our bodies, minds, and hearts. We share mindfulness techniques from a range of backgrounds in our Meditation courses. We teach the lost art of relaxation and stillness in our Restorative Yoga classes. We offer specialized courses, retreats and workshops for folks to reconnect with themselves and learn new self-care practices. 

Body Positivity. In a culture where body shaming and fat phobia are rampant, we aim to create a space where all bodies are welcomed, accepted, and celebrated. We hope to encourage a wider range of body sizes, ages, races, genders, and abilities to feel comfortable practicing yoga.

Accessibility and Inclusion. We see our business and yoga practice as a space to be the change we want to see in the world. We are proud to be an LGBTQ2SAI+ positive space. We work to create trauma-aware classes, with lots of space and options to participate in the way that's right for you. We acknowledge that finances can be a barrier to attending yoga; we strive to leverage our privilege to benefit others through a variety of slide-scale options.
